Award-Winning Student Team Brought Fresh Perspectives to Bendiro’s Business Development
At Bendiro, we believe in the value of collaborating with the engineers of tomorrow. During the spring, we had the opportunity to work with students from the Product Development Engineering Programme at Halmstad University as part of their Business Development course.
As part of the course, the students were tasked with analyzing several business development opportunities that we had identified and evaluating them using various models and analytical tools. The project gave them the opportunity to work with a real-world business case and the commercial challenges that come with it.

The team consisting of Engla Nilsson, Sandra Linner, Marta Sabti and Felix Anderlind chose to collaborate with Bendiro after discovering the company through their research.
“We were looking for medium-sized manufacturing companies and became interested in Bendiro. The company had a strong digital presence, and we quickly established contact with Teddy. Throughout the project, we received prompt feedback and great commitment from Bendiro, which was extremely valuable to our work,” says Sandra Linner.
For us, the collaboration was just as rewarding.
“It has been very interesting to gain insight into the students’ analytical methods and perspectives. Collaboration between industry and academia benefits everyone involved, which makes it especially gratifying that the group was also recognized for its work,” says Teddy Eriksson, Business Development Manager at Bendiro.
Out of ten project groups, three received scholarships awarded by an external jury, and the team working with Bendiro was awarded second prize for its business development project.
We congratulate Engla, Sandra, Marta and Felix on their achievement and thank them for an inspiring and rewarding collaboration.
